Snowman Snow Skin Mooncake is a dessert made mainly from glutinous rice flour, designed in the shape of a cute snowman, perfect for the Christmas festive atmosphere. ⭐️ Mochi Skin:
Glutinous rice flour: 100g
Corn starch (or tapioca starch): 30g
Castor sugar: 20g
Corn syrup: 20g
Milk: 190g
Butter: 20g
⭐️ Filling:
Whipped cream: 400g
Castor sugar: 40g
Strawberry jam: about 150g
⭐️ Cooked Glutinous Rice Flour: as needed
Surface Decoration: strawberries, powdered sugar, coconut flakes, as needed
👉🏻✨DIRECTIONS:
Mix all the ingredients for the mochi skin (except butter) evenly and sieve them. Cover with plastic wrap and poke small holes. Steam for 25 minutes over boiling water.
Add butter and stir until absorbed. Divide into 12 equal portions, roll into balls, cover with plastic wrap, and set aside.
Whip the cream with castor sugar until it reaches a 9-10 stage, then refrigerate for later use.
Dust the mochi skin with cooked glutinous rice flour, roll it out, place it in a mold, squeeze a ring of cream, add a spoonful of strawberry jam, then squeeze another ring of cream, wrap it up, trim off the excess, dust with cooked glutinous rice flour, and place it in a paper cup.
Decorate the facial features, squeeze cream on the surface, place strawberries, and sprinkle with powdered sugar and coconut flakes. Done!
