Pork Ribs (large cut): 500g
Chestnuts: 100g
Ginger: 3g
Salt: to taste

Peel and deseed the pumpkin, wash it, and cut into thick pieces for later use.
Boil the pork ribs in boiling water for five minutes, then remove and wash them to remove blood and impurities.
Wash the chestnuts and remove the shells.
If using dry scallops, soak them in water for one hour beforehand.
Place an appropriate amount of water (about 11 cups) in a pot, add the pork ribs, dry scallops (if using), pumpkin, chestnuts, and ginger slices. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for three hours.
Once the soup is done, season with salt and enjoy.
