Pumpkin: 500g, peeled and cubed
Chickpeas: 200g, canned or cooked
Onion: 1, finely chopped
Garlic: 4 cloves, finely chopped
Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Ginger, grated: 1 teaspoon
Ground cumin: 1 teaspoon
Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
Chicken broth: 500ml
Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Fresh cilantro: to taste, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper: to taste

Heat olive oil in a stew pot, add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
Add ground cinnamon, grated ginger, ground cumin, and paprika, and stir to release the aroma.
Add pumpkin cubes and chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add chickpeas, continue to simmer for 10 minutes, until pumpkin is tender.
Season with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
