This lighter Basque cake replaces cream cheese with taro and yogurt, offering a creamy texture with osmanthus fragrance—perfect for weight management!

  • 300g taro

  • purple sweet potato powder

  • milk

  • condensed milk

  • 400g sugar-free yogurt

  • 20g cornstarch

  • 30g sugar substitute

  • 2 eggs

👉🏻✨DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1️⃣ Steam the taro until soft, then mash it with milk, condensed milk, and purple sweet potato powder. Spread the mixture evenly at the bottom of the mold and press it flat.
    2️⃣ Mix yogurt, eggs, sugar substitute, and cornstarch until smooth. Strain the mixture into the mold and tap to remove air bubbles.
    3️⃣ Bake at 220°C (428°F) for 25 minutes. Let it cool, then refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
    4️⃣ Spread a layer of yogurt on top and sprinkle with dried osmanthus flowers before serving.
