Homemade garlic bread is a delicious dish that combines garlic and butter spread on toasted bread and then baked. Its unique flavor and creamy taste make it a must-have on many family dinner tables.

300g high-gluten flour
5g yeast
5g salt
50g egg
100g milk
35g sugar
35g vegetable oil
100g butter
5 cloves of garlic
A suitable amount of parsley leaves (optional)
Salt and sugar for seasoning
👉🏻✨DIRECTIONS:
Put high-gluten flour, yeast, salt, egg, milk, sugar, and vegetable oil in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. It doesn't need to be kneaded to a film, as garlic bread is usually eaten hot and the cold texture is not considered.
Let the dough rest for 15 minutes, then roll it into a rectangle, roll it up, and pinch the seam tightly. Slightly roll it longer.
Place the dough in a closed environment (such as an oven) to rise until doubled in size. Room temperature fermentation is sufficient in summer, while in winter, you can place a bowl of hot water under the baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Once the dough has risen, bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes. Remove and let it cool.
Make the garlic butter: Finely chop the garlic and put it in a bowl. Heat the butter in a small pot until melted, then pour it into the garlic bowl. Add parsley leaves (if using), vegetable oil, a suitable amount of salt and sugar, and mix well.
Slice the baked bread to your preferred thickness, preferably about the width of a finger. Spread the garlic butter evenly on both sides of the bread, then wrap it in aluminum foil.
Place the wrapped bread in the oven and bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes. If you prefer a crispy texture, open the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Be careful not to burn the butter when melting it to avoid bitterness.
