Homemade black pepper beef
Homemade black pepper beef, spicy and juicy, tender meat, every bite is pure bliss!
Materials:
CBeef slices (e.g., beef tenderloin) 300g)
Black pepper powder, to taste
Light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
Dark soy sauce, a dash (optional, for color
Cooking wine, 1 tablespoon
Cornstarch, 1 tablespoon
Garlic, minced, to taste
Ginger, minced, a pinch
Cooking oil, as needed
Salt, a pinch (omit if soy sauce is salty enough)
Sliced green and red bell peppers or onions, to taste, for garnish and flavor
Steps:
Marinate the beef slices in a bowl with black pepper powder, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce (if using), cooking wine, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes to allow the beef to absorb the flavors
Prepare the garlic and ginger by mincing them. Slice the green and red bell peppers or onions for garnish
Heat a wok or pan over high heat with oil. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef slices and stir-fry quickly until they change color. Remove and set aside. Be careful not to overcook the beef to avoid toughness.
Leave some oil in the pan and add the minced garlic and ginger to fry until fragrant.
Return the cooked beef slices to the pan along with the sliced bell peppers or onions. Stir-fry quickly to combine. Season with salt if needed (omit if soy sauce is already salty enough
Once all ingredients are cooked through and well-seasoned, remove from heat and serve immediately!
