Egg-Wrapped Sandwich
Crispy outside, tender inside, nutritious and delicious, a new breakfast option.

An egg-wrapped sandwich is a sandwich where a golden-fried egg envelops a variety of fillings. The outer egg layer is soft and smooth, while the inner fillings offer a rich texture, making it an ideal choice for breakfast or afternoon tea.

👉🏻Ingredients list⚠️
3 eggs
30ml milk
A pinch of salt
A pinch of black pepper
4 slices of toast bread
Several lettuce leaves
4 slices of ham/bacon
2 slices of cheese
Butter as needed
👉🏻✨DIRECTIONS:
Beat the eggs in a bowl, add milk, salt, and black pepper, and mix well into an egg mixture.
Heat a skillet, add a small amount of butter, pour in the egg mixture, and cook over low heat until the egg mixture solidifies into an omelette. Flip and cook briefly on the other side, then remove and set aside.
Trim the edges of the toast bread, spread a thin layer of butter on each slice, and toast in an oven or toaster until lightly golden and crispy.
Layer lettuce leaves, ham slices (or bacon), and cheese slices on one slice of toast, then cover with another slice of toast.
Gently wrap the fried omelette around the sandwich, securing the shape with toothpicks if needed, or enjoy as is.

👉🏻✨TIPS
Do not use too high heat when frying the omelette to avoid burning the outside while the inside remains raw.
Add condiments like ketchup or mustard according to personal preference.
Avoid over-toasting the bread to maintain a pleasant texture.
