Unsalted butter - 100g
Powdered sugar - 50g
1 egg (at room temperature)
All-purpose flour - 200g
Vanilla extract - a little
Christmas-themed cookie cutters
Icing sugar, colored sprinkles (for decoration)

Soften the unsalted butter at room temperature, then mix with powdered sugar until light in color.
Add the egg and continue mixing until well combined. Stir in a little vanilla extract for flavor.
Sieve in the all-purpose flour and knead into a smooth dough. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Remove the dough, roll it into a thin sheet, and cut out shapes using Christmas-themed cookie cutters.
Place the cut cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove and let cool before decorating with icing sugar and colored sprinkles.
