Chestnut Nut Cocoa Cake

Cocoa powder: 15g
Chestnuts: 200g (cooked)
Cashews or other nuts: as needed
Cream: 250ml
Sugar: as needed
Eggs: 4
Milk: 30ml
Butter: 30g


Chestnut Nut Cocoa Cake is a delicious pastry that combines the rich flavor of cocoa, the sweetness of chestnuts, and the crunchiness of nuts. This cake is moist and delicious, offering a rich sense of hierarchy with every bite. It is the perfect choice for chocolate and chestnut lovers.


👉🏻✨DIRECTIONS:
Peel the chestnuts, chop some, and blend the rest into a paste with water.
Separate the egg yolks and whites. Mix the egg yolks with some sugar and milk until smooth.
Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until they form soft peaks.
Combine the egg yolk mixture and egg white foam, sieve in the cake flour and cocoa powder, and mix well.
Add the melted butter and continue to stir until the batter is smooth.
Pour the batter into a baking dish, tap out any bubbles, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
Whip the cream and mix it with the chestnut paste to form a chestnut cream filling.
Once the cake has cooled, cut it horizontally into two pieces, spread the chestnut cream filling in the middle, and sprinkle with nut fragments.
Finally, sieve a layer of cocoa powder over the cake surface and decorate with nut fragments.

When peeling chestnuts, make a cut on the surface and microwave for 2 minutes to make it easier to separate the shell and flesh.
