Beef Stew is a classic Western dish known for its rich broth and tender beef. Suitable for family gatherings and as a delicious meal during weight loss diets, this dish, after about two hours of slow cooking, results in beef that melts in your mouth and vegetables infused with meaty flavors. It's a comforting dish that's hard to resist.

Beef: 500g
Tomato: 1
Carrots: 3
Onion: 1
Potato: 1
Celery: 1/4 stalk
Flour: As needed
Tomato paste: 3 tsp
Red wine: 1 cup (optional)
Bay leaf: 1
Thyme: 1 tsp
Black pepper: 1 tsp
Salt: To taste
Olive oil: 3 tbsp
Balsamic vinegar: 7 tbsp
Sugar: 3 tbsp
Purified water: As needed
👉🏻✨DIRECTIONS:
Cut the beef into flat slices or chunks and marinate with salt and black pepper for 10 minutes.
In a large soup pot, add olive oil and heat slightly. Add the beef slices and cook on medium-low heat until both sides are browned. Remove and set aside.
Chop the tomato and onion, and crush the garlic. Add the onion and garlic to the pot, along with balsamic vinegar, and cook on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
Add tomato paste and flour, stirring until a thick sauce forms.
Add red wine, bay leaf, sugar, and purified water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Chop the potato, carrots, and celery into small cubes and add to the pot. Continue simmering for another hour.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or black pepper as needed. Serve hot.

If the broth becomes too thick, add boiling water as needed.
