Air Fryer Sesame Sauce Tofu is an innovative dish made using an air fryer, combining traditional tofu with rich sesame sauce. It retains the tenderness of tofu while adding the unique flavor of sesame sauce, making it a delicious choice for family gatherings or everyday snacks.

1 block of soft tofu (about 300g)
3 tablespoons of sesame sauce
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
½ tablespoon of dark soy sauce (for coloring, optional)
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
A few drops of sesame oil
Salt to taste
White pepper to taste
Chopped scallions for garnish

Prepare the Tofu: Cut the soft tofu into uniform small blocks and gently blot excess moisture with kitchen paper towels.
Prepare the Sesame Sauce: In a bowl, mix the sesame sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce (if using), honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper until smooth and free of lumps.
Marinate the Tofu: Gently place the tofu blocks into the sesame sauce, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Marinate for 10 minutes.
Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Place the marinated tofu blocks in the air fryer basket, spacing them apart to avoid sticking. Set the time for 12-15 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve and Garnish: Once cooked, remove the tofu blocks and sprinkle with chopped scallions for garnish before serving.
